Bachelor of Physiotherapy
Chelsea pursued her career in physiotherapy, achieving honors in bachelor of physiotherapy in Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
She believes physiotherapy is most successful when her patients are treated holistically and not just in the area of symptoms. Chelsea utilises musculoskeletal clinical translation framework to understand and treat contributing factors to the pain and disorder.
She is a former professional triathlete who has represented Hong Kong in competing number of events, including the Youth Olympics Games, National Games of China and World Championships. She understands that injuries are the biggest enemy for all athletes to strive for the best of themselves.
Chelsea’s main interests are in running, cycling and shoulder injuries. She believes that injuries can be prevented with good sporting techniques, so she is willing to share her own experiences on top of her knowledges to analysis the techniques of swimming, cycling and running for her patients.
Chelsea provides treatment based on recent research, she believes physiotherapy is lifelong learning and she is currently studying further in Master of Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) in Curtin University.
She speaks fluently in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
In her spare time, she enjoys all kind of outdoor activities including wake surfing, camping and hiking and still actively training for upcoming 10km and half marathon competition and prepare for future marathon and ironman races.
